Promotions Are Out!

Member promotions are out! Please check the Roster page and update your Ventrilo name to reflect your new rank. Congratulations and THANK YOU for your loyalty to Blood Brigade!
Please be patient as we update everyone's rank avatars on the forums to reflect any promotion you may have received. For those that did not receive a promotion, make yourself active on the fourms, in Ventrilo and within our servers and the promotions will come!

Cool Changes! Please READ

Over the last few weeks, your JCOS members have been working hard on some very cool changes within Blood Brigade.
As you know, we use a military based system to help us organize our membership. In the past our members were grouped into Companies and Platoons based on particular games such as COD, Battlefield, EVE etc.
Starting February 1st, we are deploying a new system of using Divisions without a game type associated with them. Our feeling is that all =[BB]= members should be unified into groups that are member based and not game based.
The new Divisions are named as followed:
1) Armored Division
2) Airborne Division
3) Infantry Division
All active members have been placed into one of these Divisions for organizational purposes.
Along with this new system comes some very exciting leadership promotions and title changes.
Each Division will now have a Commanding Officer (CO) and a Second in Charge (XO). New promotions to these positions are as follows:
Armored Division:
Armored Division CO: Major General Swagger
Armored Division XO: Chief Warrant Officer 2 Huma
Airborne Division:
Airborne Division CO: Lieutenant General DblDutch
Airborne Division XO: 2nd Lieutenant Price
Infantry Division:
Infantry Division CO: Brigadier General Alphawolf
Infantry Division XO: Sergeant Major of Army Davidus
Our forums sections will be updated to reflect these changes over the next two weeks. This is a large undertaking, so please bear with us as we rename forums areas and assign permissions to all members which will allow them to enter their respective Division areas.
Congratulations to our new leaders - you have earned it! Some of you may also notice that Major General Swagger has come out of retirement and will be taking on the CO position in our Armored Division. We are very happy to have Swagger back in an active position!
For those that are in the "Ranks" of the above mentioned Divisions: Your CO and XO are your chain of command. If you have a question or concern, please get with your particular leaders and they will work with you to resolve the issue at hand. The CO and XO from each Division will report directly to the JCOS for any issues which may be of a larger nature.

I started gaming online about 4 years ago when a co-worker brought in COD2 and we started inner office battles. When COD4 came out, we decided to pool our money and buy for the same reason, to destroy each other over the office network. I found the online portion shortly after and began my rein of terror (well, terror for my team mates since I died so much.)
I quickly figured out that run and gun was not for me and then I stumbled on the BB server. I got fussed at for running and ten the rules were explained. I found my home. A few months later with the pushing from BigBear, Swagger and TonkaToy I sent in my app. and joined up with some good folks that I still consider friends.
I am married and have no kids except our dog and cat. I am an Art Director at a community college and own my own photography and graphic design business. Design is my passion and i enjoy every moment. My wife and I just moved from a large city to a small town to grow our business and have in the last few weeks, purchased an old farm house built in 1869 to renovate into a studio for portrait shoots. Exciting and terrifying at the same time.
I will continue to check in on =[BB]= as I have time since I have come to know so many of you so well. I wish you all good fortune and someone take out Bear for me every now and then
