On sportsmanship, justice and gratitude

Can't say this is a surprise to me.
Sucks to see you leave, I really enjoyed playing against you. Always felt you had an slight advantage over me, but only due to PING levels. Which made beating you much more sweeter.

DEAD MEN DON'T TALK
Clearly you were breaking that implicit rule, no question about it. Do some BB members break it too? I would have to say yes, I've seen many of them give away enemy positions after getting killed. And can't imagine how many more do that on TS. Not all of them are 100% clear on the rules and it's interpretation are some times subjective. That's something the BB guys should work on. SUBJECTIVITY OF RULES.

DONT ARGUE WITH BB MEMBERS
It doesn't mean you don't have the right to argue, it just means don't do it on the gaming servers, its distracting to the other players. "Have an issue?" take it to the forums, that's my motto. However I've seen many BB members engaging in arguments and when they start loosing it threaten with kicks and bans rather than giving the regulars the option to take it to the forums. You guys should work on that too. DON'T ENGAGE INTO ARGUMENTS.

YOUR OWN TS CHANNEL
I don't see how having your own TS channel might give you an UNFAIR advantage. IRL some people have better comms than others that's just the way it is. They have an advantage yes, is it unfair, hell no. The fact that the BB STYLE OF PLAYING doesn't take advantage of it its on them.
I understand that BB is not a HARDCORE GAMING community, its just a MATURE gaming COMMUNITY, which means the social aspect of the game its more important. However I've seen the game flooded with trivial chit chat that gets very distracting. I know most of you guys are friends, but that's what FB, FORUMS, E-MAIL, TS, IM and a bunch of other services are for, do you really need to bring all that into the game too? Just something to think about. WANNA GAME OR CHAT?

"SPORTSMANSHIP"
Only issue I ever had with you and your brother its the the definition of sportsmanship you have, yours should go something like this "win anyway you can within the boundaries of the rules".
For example, yesterday I got spawned killed a couple of times when we were playing on COUNTDOWN. No big deal, since its a small map I assumed it was unintentional, it happens when trying to overtake the enemy's spawn point.
But on the next map, BLOC, by the last 30 secs your team was down by 3 points, I got killed, 2 points, when I re-spawned I got killed by your brother. Not even one second in, 1 point. And one of my team mates that spawned about 3 seconds before me got shot next. Now, according to your brother he waits 5 secs before killing someone that has just spawned, however in less than 5 secs he killed two dudes that just spawned. 50% chance he was CAMPING, but also 50% he wasn't not the point really, however from my side it seemed that he rather win that way, breaking his own personal rule of not killing before 5 secs than loose. Not the only time that happened, just the most recent.
Personally I wait to get shot before killing someone that has just spawned, I get killed 50% of the time. If they don't see me I fire a few rounds to get his attention, wait for him to notice and then shot. That is less efficient, I get killed about 80% of the time. And when trying to overtake the enemy's spawn I sneak in, hide and wait for it to switch. Doing that I get about 3-5 people walk in front of my sights but I don't take the shot. I could get at least 2 kills that way and still argue I wasn't spawn camping. I don't do it because of the rule, rather because it doesn't fit into my definition of FAIR and SPORTSMANSHIP. Over the time I've seen you spawn kill many times, not really camping, just pushing forward and shooting first. I rather get killed than kill some one like that. But that's just me. However you chose to play its your prerogative.
Point being, you should not critique others on how they chose to play when your choice is just as flawed.
Well, hopefully you will come back from time to time to check the forums and read this post, and think about this last point I made.

Quote:

Read #5 thats what this is over. It states that ''YOU'' not your friend,brother,clan...etc You must have visual before throwing a nade and if a player gets info from a 2nd or 3rd way that that player throws a nade then that is blind nading...

Need a clarification on this one. Say I'm camping in a very inconspicuous place, I identify enemy fire coming out of a building. Now leaving my spot is risky so I tell one of my team mates the enemy's position, he nades the sucker. He didn't have direct visual, I didn't acquire visual through KILLCAM and such, since I'm still alive. Would that be alright?

Anyway, sad to see you part, I have to say tho that if I were in your position I would do the same, maybe in less words, but the same nonetheless. Keep in touch if you can, I really mean it when I say I enjoyed playing with you, not just against you.
Farewell man!

COD 5 - World at War

Skipper";p="6566 Wrote:

I find that you have to play a lot more realistic in CoD5 -- you MUST use cover and concealment, and you MUST be a good shot. It is much harder to shoot and hit something, so you have to practice being quick and accurate, with emphasis on accurate. You generally can't just hip shoot and expect to hit anyone beyond 10 feet away.

The way the game models visibility is also more difficult, it's harder to spot enemies than in CoD 4. The maps also offer better cover in general.

Anyway I play it about as much as CoD4, I have one server that I play all the time, if anyone wants info on it please PM me.

I agree with Skipper on this one , and I also know of a tactical server that I play strictly on that follows very simular rules to BB servers

I occasionally get that cover slide-back problem too. I have always attributed it to lag though, as it only seems to happen when my ping isnt great. I don't get the updating stats hing however. For me it takes only a few seconds, and 15 at the most.

F.E.A.R multiplayer--- free and epic

I agree, that is also an epic and wonderful game! I own currently the entire series from the expansion packs to the main game. It scares me at times, and is more fun to play in the dark at night around 12-2am, with no lights on anywhere in your room, my gaming headset turned loud, and the moonlight coming in through my window. It is such a rush!! Well yea I also enjoy the multiplayer. If you are interested in the gameplay, the first game costs ten bucks on steam. Pick it up, it is worth more probably then Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 in my opinion. It sold like at least a million copies in its release. So be sure to try out demo and pick it up. You may get demo from Steam as well for the Second Fear. Which is just as good. See you in game. Simo Haya
